In a Nutshell

 SML Good Neighbors, Inc. is a nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization that works with children who are rising 1st through 6th graders from six elementary schools in Bedford and Franklin Counties.  These children are from families with limited resources. 

We provide summer enrichment programs at no cost to families.  The children attend full-day, five days per week, enrichment camps lasting four weeks. Carefully selected college interns are the primary facilitators.

 There is an emphasis on reading, writing and enhancement of communication skills. Additionally, daily enrichment programs are provided that include: Nature Education, Peace Education, Cultural Diversity and Global Education.  We also provide nutritious breakfasts, lunches and snacks for the children.
