Every summer SML Good Neighbors, Inc. chooses nine college interns to facilitate the summer enrichment camp. The interns spend nearly forty hours a week over a two month period planning, organizing, and camp counseling elementary school students around rural Smith Mountain Lake, VA.. Along with a stipend at the end of each four week period, the interns receive housing and home cooked meals from generous volunteers.
