Celebrating a Summer of Learning and Looking Ahead to a New School Year

As a new school year begins, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible work that took place in our summer program and the amazing people who make it possible.

All summer long, our classrooms were filled with curiosity, laughter and growth. thanks to our dedicated teachers, enthusiastic college interns and supportive community, children had the opportunity to strengthen their reading, sharpen their skills and explore new activities that sparked creativity and confidence.

In a time when summer learning loss can make the transition back to school challenging, these experiences were a bridge that helped keep students engaged and prepared.

Our summer teaching staff brought their patience, encouragement and expertise to every moment, reminding us how valuable skilled educators are in when they share their experience with our teaching interns.

Our college interns added fresh energy serving not only as mentors and role models but also as learners themselves, gaining real world experience that will shape their own futures.

And our kids at the heart of it all, reminded us daily why this work matters. Their progress, excitement and resilience give us hope for what's ahead.

Because of this collective effort, our students are walkingin their classrooms this fall with confidence, stronger skills, and the knowledge that their community believes in them. That readiness is a gift that will carry them throughout the year.

To our teachers, interns, students and supporters, we thank you!

The summer may be over, but the impact will last all year long. Here is to a school year full of growth, discovery and success!
