This fall, our student enrichment in the arts after-school program is back and once again, we are bringing the magic of theatre into our elementary schools.
We are excited to share that this season, just like in years past, our focus is on developing theatre skills as a fun and creative way to support literacy and learning.
Theatre is more than memorizing lines or stepping onto a stage. For our students, it becomes a powerful tool for building confidence, teamwork and friendships. By practicing dialogue, expression and storytelling, children strengthen their reading and comprehension skills while also discovering new ways to communicate and connect.
These experiences help transform reading from a task into a joyful collaborative adventure.
This fall we are thrilled to bring our program to Moneta Elementary School in Bedford County Virginia and Sontag Elelmentary School in Franlin County. We love giving these students the opportunity to participate. With each rehearsal and activity, students practice their literacy skills but also their ability to listen, share and create together. Skill that serve them both inside and outside of the classroom.
We are especially grateful to have a fabulous and experienced instructor leading the way. With professional experience in many aspects of theatre beyond our program. Eli brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and creativity that inspires our students to dream big and shine brightly.

As the season unfolds, we look forward to seeing our young performers grow in skill and confidence. Through theatre, they are not only becoming better reader, they are becoming stronger teammates, expressive storytellers and courageous learners.
