At SML Good Neighbors Inc., our mission has always been centered on nurturing our community’s children through vital educational enrichment and year-round nutritional support. Doing this work takes a dedicated village and for years, one of our greatest partners in making that impact possible has been the Smith Mountain Lake Charity Home Tour.
We are thrilled and deeply honored to share that SML Good Neighbors has once again been selected as one of the eight participating local nonprofits for the 2026 SML Charity Home Tour!
A Partnership Built on Community Support
We have been privileged to participate in the Home Tour almost since our organization’s inception. Over the years, the generous backing from the Home Tour organizers, corporate sponsors, generous homeowners, and tireless volunteers has become a cornerstone of our annual funding. The proceeds from this incredible event directly power our summer enrichment camps, after-school programs, and healthy snack and meal initiatives for local youth.
This year, SML Good Neighbors is paired with the beautiful Ridley-Klucken Home. We are immensely grateful to the family for opening their doors to support our cause!
