Today is Storybook Character Day!
We saw some fantastic costumes, including Cat in the Hat, Pug the Pig, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, the Man in the Yellow Hat, the Big Friendly Giant, and Bluey!
Dressing up and stepping into the shoes of beloved book characters highlights the value of stories and imagination.
Many students chose characters from their favorite books, showing just how powerful reading can be.
Students also wrote thank you cards and letters to someone they appreciate.
Popular choices included parents, friends, interns and teachers.
As the weeks of camp begin to wind down, we’ve seen just how much appreciation helps keep our interns motivated and focused.
A simple thank you, a shoutout, or a reminder that their work matters goes a long way.
Their energy and heart have made this summer unforgettable for our kids and for us.
